30 June 2003 - Ascendas-MGM Funds Management Limited, the manager of Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust ("A-REIT") would like to confirm that JTC's newly posted rates effective from July 2003 are in line with the forecast and assumptions stated in A-REIT's IPO prospectus dated 5 November 2002 (the "Prospectus"). A-REIT's achieved rental rates are in line with the forecasts and assumptions stated in its Prospectus.
